My Predictions of the Future, from the 1990s

In the late 1990s I worked as a technology journalist, as the the editor of CNET Australia and as a writer and contributing editor for Internet.au magazine. Yes, a magazine about the Internet.

Nearly 20 years ago the team all made predictions about the future of the Internet and I just found a copy in my archive. While some of it was a little tongue in cheek, I was pleased to see that many of my predictions about streaming media, privacy and mobile video have come to pass.
